"The group brings a lyrical fluidity to the music without sacrificing the boot-stomping energy. A crossover gem that leaps genres and centuries." - Montreal Gazette

"Recommended for a great uplift of the spirit." – Magikal Music

Celtic/classical quartet Puirt a Baroque (pronounced "poorsht-a-ba-roke") present their unique fusion of Celtic and baroque art music.

This CD is the band's first to feature vocals, sung beautifully in English and Gaelic. Performing with David Greenberg on this CD are Stephanie Conn, voice and percussion; Terry McKenna, baroque and steel-string guitars, lute and mandolin; and David Sandall, harpsichord.
