March 1, 2008 - Dione Taylor
is winning universal praise for her powerful and moving performance

Chorale; Peterson protegé Oliver Jones was on piano. February 5, 2008 - The Aldeburgh Connection's Schubert Among Friends has been nominated for a Canadian Juno Award as Best Classical Vocal Recording of the Year. It's an evocative recreation of a musical evening with Schubert, featuring many of the composer's best loved songs and piano music.
Janury 3, 2007 - We are greatly saddened by the death of Cynthia Steljes, internationally renowned oboist and founding member of Quartetto Gelato. She died in Toronto on December 29 from pleural mesothelioma, a rare form of asbestos-related lung cancer, surrounded by her husband Peter DeSotto, and her family and friends. Cynthia was talented, funny, warm and generous. We at Marquis were proud to have Quartetto Gelato on our record label for many years, and we will miss her.
